Today was like 90 degrees out, if not more. If it were any hotter, my thick asian hair would've fallen off my head.
Krebs snack of the day was a celery stick. Tomorrow it will be a Tops Hamburger
Everyone worked on their respective units and I believe we reached 89 or 90 Units today. Our ultimate goal is to reach 100 Units, which is a huge milestone for us. It would be better if it were at 117 Units because we honestly started at 17. But thats ok. 100 Units is almost in our reach, and we got one week to do it! Nike this shiz. We started doing a preliminary backfill into our completed trenches and blocks. To do this, we had a student start backfilling in trenches all day, and the rest of us were to screen into the trenches. It was a brilliant idea! Also, we are gonna figure out the square meterage? of the whole site that we dug out. Because we believe that we covered more units and moved more dirt than any of the other Field Schools combined, but not just square meterage, but also we gotta account for depth wise too, because the other schools are going deeper. But we know we have this one in the bag.
